Terms of use
Last updated September 7, 2026
Agreement
These terms cover https://tinyutilitylab.com and the browser tools published under the Tiny Utility Lab name. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the tools. Questions go to tinyutilitylab@proton.me.
What the lab is
Tiny Utility Lab offers small utilities that run in your browser. Current tools include a fillable US rent receipt, a fillable purchase order, and a fillable credit memo you can download as PDFs. The service is free. It may be ad-supported. There is no account system and no paid upgrade path.
Not advice
Receipts, forms, and other outputs are templates for convenience. They are not legal, tax, accounting, or landlord-tenant advice. Laws and customary receipt fields differ by state and by lease. You are responsible for whether a document is complete, accurate, and acceptable for your situation. If you need advice, talk to a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
Your responsibilities
- Provide truthful information when you fill a form.
- Keep copies of PDFs you need. We do not store them.
- Do not use the site to commit fraud or harass anyone.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site or scrape it in a way that harms other visitors.
- Do not imply that Tiny Utility Lab verified a payment or a tenancy.
No accounts, no cloud drafts
You do not register. We do not hold a copy of your rent receipt, purchase order, or credit memo on a server. If your browser crashes before you download a PDF, we cannot recover the draft. See the privacy policy for how device storage and hosting logs work.
Ads and third parties
Pages may include third-party advertising. Ad companies have their own terms. We do not control every cookie they set. The tools themselves do not require you to click an ad or create a paid account.
Intellectual property
The Tiny Utility Lab name, site design, and original copy belong to the brand. You may keep PDFs you generate for your own records and ordinary landlord, tenant, or purchasing use. You may not copy the site, wrap it in another product, or present the lab as your own service.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that a PDF will be accepted by a court, bank, employer, housing agency, or tax authority, or that the site will be uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tiny Utility Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost records, or data loss, arising from your use of the tools. If we are ever liable to you despite this section, that amount will not exceed one hundred US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the minimum the law requires.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Tiny Utility Lab harmless from claims that arise from your use of a generated document, your content, or your violation of these terms.
Changes and availability
We may add or remove tools, change copy, or stop offering the site without notice. We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction in the United States may hear disputes that cannot be resolved by email. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived in your state.
